Yesterday saw White grace us with a brand new single. ‘Step Up’comes as the bands fifth single to be released and I’m here to tell you guy’s why you should be getting on this tune and this band in general.
Their new single follows true White style, starting with a heavy bass line which builds a solid basis throughout the entirety of the song, tension is built with eerie whispered vocals before the song breaks into it’s full glory with quirky instrumentation and intense vocals. ‘Step Up’ has raw energy and power, with it’s truly unique style and the bands perplexing talent, there is nothing that you can’t love about this single. ‘Step Up’ conveys true angst and feeling and coupled with the weird and wonderful video released with the track, this song is definitely a big hit for White.
You guy’s can catch White at Belladrum Festival, Electric Fields and SummerHall, Edinburgh in the next few months. Keep an eye out for future material and tours from these guys, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
