Twenty One Pilots are back with a brand new track for us lovely people. ‘Heathens’ dropped about a week ago now and is taken from the Suicide Squad movie soundtrack album.
You guy’s are going to absolutely love this new track, it follows Twenty One Pilots completely unique and original sound that carries them so well throughout every venture that they take one. “Heathens” has an underlying electronic melody, that adds to the eeriness and mystery of the song, which suits the idea of Suicide Squad so well. The song begins with Josh’s eerie vocals with a synthy backdrop before the song fully kicks in with it’s absolute tunage.
The song then breaks and repeatedly builds to a mellow electronic break and then builds back up to it’s full eeriness. With meaningful lyrics and strong vocals, coupled with an upbeat melody and true Twenty One Pilots genius, there is nothing that you cannot love about this absolutely amazing track.
Suicide Squad is due to be released on the 5th of August 2016 with the notorious soundtrack album being released prior to this.
You can catch Twenty One Pilots at Reading and Leeds this year and hopefully a subsequent tour will follow from this.
