So I went along to Schnarff Schnarff’s album launch at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow and I thought I would give you guys a quick lowdown of the magnificent night.
First on the agenda for the night we’re Dunfermline based, five piece Forgeign Fox. They gave an evergrowing crowd a taste of their alt-rock tunes and it was clear they gained fans from the outset of their performance. Jonny’s powerful vocals rang out across a crowd who couldn’t help but move their feet along to the bands crowd starting tunes. Their emotion evoking songs drew the crowd in and by the time their set had finished the crowd were in awe of their performance.
Second support were The Belafonte who showed that they clearly had a lot to offer the crowd ahead of headliners Schnarff Schnarff taking the stage. Having a look around it was clear to see that they have built up a loyal fan following as part of the crowed were showing their support in the bands shirts. Their songs were definite crowd starters, they slotted perfectly into the bill and left the crowed hyped and wanting more. With intricately detailed instrumentation and raw vocals, their songs get you moving your feet. The Belafontes have a seriously successful career ahead of them so get them checked out.
From up on the platform at the back of the venue (I could finally see, result!) I saw Schnarff Schnarff take the stage, they were faced with a packed out venue of a hyped up crowd who were screaming and shouting as the band made their appearance. From the outset it was clear to see just why the crowd were so hyped, I was blown away by their performance. Breaking into the first song, it became apparent that they were about to make a lasting impression on the nights gig goers. Their performance was high energy and full of raw power as the crowd jumped and danced along. They captivated the crowd and drew you into their performance. They provided a set of class songs that you could seriously move your feet to. Big things are definitely ahead of Schnarff Schnarff.
