Indigo Velvet are back with a brand new single. ‘Sunrise’ is due to be released November 4th and you can catch Indigo Velvet on a headline tour across the UK starting November 2nd.
Indigo Velvet have had an insane year so far, with appearances at some of Scotlands most prestigious events including T in the Park, XPO North, Belladrum and now a headline tour (With some of the best support acts I’ve ever seen may I add). Tipped as one of Scotlands best up and coming acts, it’s clear to see why they are becoming a clear fan favourite. They are back with a brand new single ‘Sunrise’, here is why you need to wrap your ears around this perfect tune.
‘Sunrise’ follows Indigo Velvet’s true style that we have all come to love, with up-beat feel good vibes and summery jangly guitar riffs, you can’t help but dance your heart out to it. Tackling a topic that a lot of people are all too familiar with, the single delves into cheating and everything that comes with it. With a solid catchy melody, mellow vocals and lyrics that you’ll be singing for the rest of your life, it is clear to see that IV have hit the mark yet again with a single that you can’t help but love. Starting off more relaxed with a soft delightful riff, the chorus breaks in with a slightly heavier approach which then builds throughout the song, leaving you in awe when it ends and needing to hear it again. It has all the usual tropical pop goodness that you can expect and more. Give it a listen and get along to see Indigo Velvet on their tour, you’ll regret it otherwise…
