So there is now under a month until our fabulous Earth, Wind And Freshers event. Taking place at Stereo, Glasgow on Thursday 22nd of September. With sets from Acrylic, SAHARA, Glass Caves and Pleasure House. Followed by a closing DJ set from The LaFontaines. We’ve decided to give you the lowdown on each band so you can now expect a weekly insight post about the bands joining us at our event. This week we have Acrylic. Enjoy Guy’s!

Forming just short of three years ago, Acrylic have had a successful run throughout the early stages of their careers, the indie-rock band hailing from Glasgow have managed to capture fans with their atmospheric, psychedelic sounds. Bagging themselves support slots with the likes of Young Kato, The View, Tijuana Bibles and Pronto Mama and being featured on the 2015 Tenement Trail, this has allowed the band to quickly build a fan-base across Scotland.

Releasing two singles this year ‘Awake’ and ‘Overrun’ have seen the band go from strength to strength, picking up fans with every endeavour they take on. This year has seen them appear at Belladrum Festival, play a short run of single launch dates across Scotland and appear on the BBC Castle Stage as part of this years Edinburgh Fringe. They put on a solid live performance and are a proven fan favourite. So get down to Stereo on the 22nd of September to catch them live. You won’t regret it.

Kitt ❤
